V12 Telecom Supplies Critical Mobile Services to The George Veterinary Group
V12 Telecom, a privately-owned telecommunications company that works with high-end IT solutions companies to provide voice, data and mobile services to their clients on a global basis, has recently completed a migration of mobile services for The George Veterinary Group
The George Veterinary Group has a veterinary hospital and three branches with over 100 members of staff who provide veterinary care across Wiltshire and Gloucestershire. The practice also has 32 mobile vets who work out of the office: equine vets, farm vets and speciality pig vets. As these vets work across the country on callouts, mobile services are critical to the job: they need 24/7 access to reliable mobile services that give them the ability to communicate with clients and other members of staff while out making calls. It is therefore vital that the vets’ mobile devices work properly and that any problems are resolved as quickly as possible to minimise disruption.
V12 Telecom were already supplying ethernet to the group’s head office, high speed fibre network to their veterinary clinics, and SIP, which allows the group’s employees to communicate using their desktop and mobile devices through the internet. The addition of managed mobile services meant that The George Veterinary Group were able to unify their communications and have their telecoms services taken care of by one provider.
When The George Veterinary Group came to renew their mobile service, Practice Manager Miles Russell looked at what was available in the market and compared V12 Telecom with traditional mobile providers.
